Young, free and single again: The Saturdays' Rochelle Wiseman hits the town with her friends, her first girls' night out since splitting from JLS's Marvin Humes

She's thrown herself into her work to nurse her broken heart since splitting from the man she thought was 'The One'.

But what Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays has really needed is a girls night out on the town to let her hair down and embrace the single life again.

And last night that's exactly what she did as she and her friends partied in central London.

Rochelle, 21, split from her JLS beau Marvin Humes last week after eight months together.

They blamed differing work commitments and their petty squabbles for their eventual break-up but insisted they will still remain friends.

And last night, Rochelle showed the world what a catch she is as she arrived at nightclub Chinawhites in a short and sexy leather dress.

The pop star wasn't with any of her bandmates but clutched tightly onto a friend's hand for support as they made their way inside the club.

She also showed off a shorter hairdo after taking to her Twitter page to announce to her followers that she 'went all out and chopped it off'.

Although despite her message, it didn't look too drastic and only seemed to be a couple of inches shorter than it had been.

Rochelle was enjoying a night off from her busy work schedule with the Saturdays which has included quite a few live gigs, including one for Armistice Day in Trafalgar Square and a live session for AOL at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden.

She also took part in a special Strictly Come Dancing show for Children In Need last Friday.

She and her partner Ian Waite went head-to-head with McFly's Harry Judd and his partner Ola Jordan for the dance-off, who ended up going home with a special Pudsey bear trophy although both acts raised lots of money for the charity.
